About Me

Eddie: Detroit, Michigan, United States; I've lived in the Detroit, Michigan area all my life. I played all the nightclubs around. I played in many local bands, Curtis Hyflash, Artist, Success, The Late Show, The Eddie Leighton Project, and now I'm with "Leighton". I do many projects with WCSX radio DJ- Steve Kostan. WCSX has been a blessing for concert gigs. Steve loves to get up and jam with us at the gigs we do. It's a lot of fun. I have composed hundreds of songs. I took first place, in the 1983 Miller Highlife Rock to Riches contest, beating over 35,000 entries nation wide. I also took first place in WRIF radio"s, "Motor City Best Rock Guitarist" contest in 1993. I got together with the new band "Leighton", in Nov. 2007. Members are: Dino Johnson-Lead Vocals (The Ride), Rick Vuk-Bass guitar (The Look), John Fain-Keyboards,(Artist), Joe Fava, Pecussion,(The Missiles),and Eddie Leighton-guitarist. I started this blog so eveyone interested in the band can communicate with us. So feel free to let it all out. Tell all your friends to check us out. We need your support. Thank you, Eddie Leighton
